This is my first sink-in/sleepin mask ever. I am a huge fan of TBS bodybutters, body scrubs & shower gels but this product I am not sure yet If I like or not. I am kind of on edge with this one or rather not impressed much.
The mask comes in signature TBS plastic tub packaging which I am not much fond of. The texture is somewhere between a gel and cream, it feels emollient yet very slippery n light/non sticky like a gel. It has got a faint floral fragrance which is not overwhelming at all. As for usage , one need apply a tiny bit all over face and neck, and after leaving it for few minutes blot out anything extra with a tissue. For my dry skin the product just sinks in instantly without leaving anything to wipe off. I started using this 3 days per week at nights but couldn’t find any difference after a month. Now I use this every single night as night cream and my skin feels just kind of ok the next morning. I didn’t see any suppleness or obviously hydrated skin here. This is just like any regular moisturizer or cream for me which don’t do anything extra other than keeping my skin comfortable for couple of hours. It surely fall short of its intense moisture claims for me. And the product do contains a bulk of chemicals too. I did tried plain argan oil instead of this for a week and could see the hugeeeee difference in my skin. This surely is one of a miss from the brand for me.
Overall this might work wonders for combination-dry skin. For my extremely dry skin all throughout the year it didn’t do much than any regular moisturiser.
