MAC describes Satin Taupe as “Taupe with silver shimmer”. But its not a pure Taupe on its own and got those slight grey& mauve undertones. On my NC42-44 skintone it reflects grey tones dominantly but that mauve undertone is definitely there. It comes under frost finish and towards cooler side of spectrum. But being a neutral complements across skintones with ease.
The formula is top notch with buttery texture which adds a healthy sheen to lids. The shade is versatile and can be used as lid, crease or even as a transition color. There’s no fall out and stays put for entire day without any issues. It is highly pigmented and a single pass packs good punch of color on lids. Like expected from MAC it performs at par in every segment. Highly Recommended!
