Vichy Purete Thermale 3in1 One Step Cleanser:
I have extremely dry skin and while follow a strict cleansing ritual at night, tend to avoid over cleanse my face. I was looking for an extremely gentle cleanser for my super quick morning cleanse & after going through lots of reviews got this 3in1 One Step Sensitive Cleanser from Vichy.
It comes in a white squeeze plastic tube with green flip up cap. The formula feels super velvety with light texture & consistency. It spreads easily. I don’t wash it off rather just wipe off with a wet cotton ball & it leaves skin super smooth & dewy without any greasiness. Like the name says, it’s 3in1 (cleanser/toner/eye makeup remover)..well I agree to some part of it! I did tried to remove makeup with this but was not happy… No it didn’t removed my long wearing eye makeup quiet well even after couple of washes. I feel the formula is pretty gentle to be called as a makeup remover. You might get away with light makeup but is not foolproof against longwearing ones. And it works amazinggggg for me as a morning cleanse without stripping off my skin by providing a gentle cleanse. It is free of parabens! It has got that mild artificial perfume fragrance which is not overwhelming given that its designed for sensitive olfactory senses.
Overall it depends for what purpose you are looking at it. I won’t recommend this as a makeup remover but then if you are someone who doesn’t wear much makeup, this would work fine.
Vichy Purete Thermale Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil:
I also picked up their Miceller Cleansin Oil which comes in a transparent pump dispenser bottle. The oil is lightweight, non greasy & doesn’t overload skin while working on the makeup. I must say this is a solid stuff & takes off each & every speck of makeup..even the long wearing one. It feels very luxurious & soothing. It works on Vichys Micellar technnology where Micelles pulls out dirt & grime while Vitamin E & Camellia Oil nourishes and soothes the skin. The oil emulsifies in contact with warm water & gets washed off easily without any stretchy feeling on the skin. I take four pumps and massage it gently all over my face giving it enough time to break down the makeup and then rinse it off with warm water. You can also use a wash cloth further but I don’t get to use the wash cloth everyday so a good rinse with warm water does the job. This might not be as rich as other cleansing oils I use (Origins Cleansing Oil or Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil) but doesn’t compromise on that luxurious feel on the skin despite being light. It has got mild fragrance which is barely noticeable. Highly Recommended!
