If you love cute pink girly packaging, then Soap & Glory is the brand to look out for. The packaging of the stuff just makes me want to grab each & everything possible. Their Body Scrubs are quiet famous & I picked up the much raved about Smoothie Breakfast Scrub during my last visit to boots. I have been using this since a month & nearly finished it…. so I guess its time to pen down my opinion on the scrub.
The packing is very pretty huge pink tub packaging. I am not a big fan of tub packaging but looking at the product formula, I feel it is best suited. The scrub is very thick & you do need to add little water into palms to get it spread over the body. It contains various sizes of exfoliant particles right from tiny sugar granules to huge cupuacu seeds which makes it slightly “scrubbier” scrub. Having said that the formula does balances itself perfectly with the emollient shea butter which provides a nice smooth & moisturising base for the scrub. If you sensitive skin I would recommend a test sample first. But for dry flaky skin this works perfectly by scrubbing out that dull flaky top layer revealing smooth supple skin with a nice moisturised feel. However I don’t skip moisturiser post using this as my skin is quiet dry. Though its grittier than most of the other body scrubs but not in an revolting way. Just that sensitive skin may find it little harsh. It has a delicious sweet Maple scent which is not very overwhelming.
Overall it is one of those nicely balanced body scrubs which exfoliate perfectly without stripping out the skins natural moisture with a nice comforting fragrance. Highly Recommended!
